Depending on your time of arrival you will either be welcomed by our villa staff or you can check yourself in with the key from a lock-box.

Villa Rimba is designed to comfortably accommodate families and groups, with spacious indoor and outdoor living areas that make it easy to relax together. The villa features a large enclosed living room with air conditioning, comfortable seating, and a Smart TV with high-speed Starlink WiFi. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Outside, you'll find a large private swimming pool with a shallow section, making it suitable for both adults and children. The pool connects to a spacious terrace with sunbeds and outdoor seating, an ideal spot to enjoy the island's warm evenings and beautiful sunsets. All four bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom with a rain shower, providing privacy for every guest. The downstairs bathroom also features a bathtub, while the upstairs bedrooms enjoy views towards the sunset and the hills of Lombok. For families travelling with young children, a baby cot and high chair are available free of charge upon request. Bicycles are not included with the villa, but we'd be happy to help arrange bike rentals for your stay. Gili Trawangan is best explored by bicycle, and everything on the island is within easy cycling distance.

Power Cuts As Gili Trawangan is a small island, occasional power cuts can happen. They are usually resolved quickly, and we appreciate your patience should one occur. Tropical Island Environment Villa Rimba is located on the tropical island of Gili Trawangan, where sharing the surroundings with local wildlife is part of the experience. Although we carry out regular pest control, you may occasionally see insects, geckos, or other small tropical creatures. Island Life Island life comes with its own natural sounds and activities. We are unable to control or accept responsibility for noise from neighboring properties, construction, religious ceremonies, local events, animals, or other external sources beyond the villa. Bicycle Rentals Bicycles are not included with your stay, but we are happy to help arrange rentals for you. Cycling is the easiest and most enjoyable way to explore Gili Trawangan, with beaches, restaurants, and shops all within easy reach. Housekeeping Complimentary housekeeping is provided every second day to help keep the villa fresh and comfortable throughout your stay. If you require additional cleaning, please let us know and we'll be happy to assist (subject to availability and additional charges). Luggage Storage We are happy to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out whenever possible. Please arrange this with our staff in advance, as this service is subject to availability. Respecting the Neighborhood While Villa Rimba offers complete privacy, it is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with nearby villas. We kindly ask all guests to respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a reasonable level. Parties, events, and unregistered visitors are not permitted. Exceeding the maximum number of guests stated in your reservation may result in additional charges or, in serious cases, termination of your stay. No cars or motorcycles allowed—movement is by foot, bicycle (rentals widely available) and cidomo (horse‑drawn carriage) for luggage/taxi service. Most places on the island are within a 10–30 minute bike ride. For transfers off‑island, passengers use the main harbour: short public boats, scheduled fast boats and private speedboats. Basic medical clinics and a small police/post exist; for major medical care or large purchases travel to Lombok mainland (Bangsal or Mataram) is required.
